When a major trade fair in Düsseldorf needed to keep food and drinks at the ideal cooling temperature for thousands of attendees, TITAN Germany stepped in with an entire fleet of high-tech refrigerated containers.
THE CHALLENGE
Good trade shows are designed to attract huge crowds, and large groups of people need catering .
As event venues often lack the infrastructure to keep food and beverages chilled during trade shows, they typically rely on partners like TITAN to provide refrigerated containers.
TITAN Germany’s customer knew that the demand for food and beverages during a large print media event would be high and turned to us for support.
As an existing TITAN customer, he reached out to us because he knew he could count on us for excellent service , as well as the best cold storage solutions in the region.
However, the trade show required additional special planning: we had to deliver 15 20-foot containers in just one day .
THE SOLUTION
As with many of TITAN’s major customer engagements, logistics played a significant role in the trade show bookings .
As Düsseldorf is approximately 50 kilometers from the Dutch border, the TITAN Germany team asked Dutch colleagues to help.
The customer needed 15 ArcticStores for two months. They were supplied and transported using a combination of Hiab vehicles and long flatbeds that could carry two 20-foot containers at a time.
All 15 containers were delivered and placed in place at the trade show site in just one day, as requested.
ArcticStores are modular and can be connected to form an open Arctic SuperStore upon request.
However, the customer did not need this solution, so all 15 ArcticStores operated as standalone units.
In total, they provided an impressive 15,000 cubic feet of storage space .
THE VERDICT
