TITAN has products with various capabilities, such as cold storage units, custom-built construction site accommodation and general storage solutions. The request to bring all three types of products to Greece was a special surprise!
THE CHALLENGE
We’re not the kind of business that constantly brags about its various branded subsidiaries: we like to treat all our employees around the world as one big happy TITAN family. However, it’s not every day that a single client contacts us for help that includes key executives from multiple TITAN businesses – especially one as prestigious as UEFA (or, more specifically, its event broadcast team).
They were looking for people from the storage container business unit , the cold storage products division , and the custom conversions unit , who would have to work together to deliver a complete solution for the Super Cup in Greece.
We were more than ready to meet this challenge.
THE SOLUTION
Working closely with the client, we proposed a plan that included a very specific combination of TITAN containers to meet the needs of the broadcast team. First and foremost, we had to cover their general storage needs – they wanted nine 6-meter containers for safe, dry storage of important supplies and equipment during the race (and in preparation for it).
We were then asked to arrange for cold storage units to ensure that perishable products were kept at the optimum temperature throughout the event. We estimated that a total of three ArcticStore models would be required .
Finally, TITAN4People engineers, our portable office and site accommodation specialists, were asked to create a set of custom-built, air-conditioned function spaces at the event location . This part of the process would require many different units with various configurations.
THE TRADITION
Road hauling more than 18 storage containers through a city near Athens requires skill, patience and experience – three things that TITAN’s delivery drivers have in abundance. They skillfully managed to place all the containers exactly where they were needed and at exactly the appointed time. This type of reliability is one of the many reasons why many customers rely on TITAN.
THE RESULTS
Another satisfied customer! Everything went smoothly, meaning the broadcast equipment remained safe, food and drinks were kept cold and the guests and officials had a comfortable stay in the specially designed accommodation suites . As for the match, Manchester City won on penalties.
