When selecting the organizations and charitable initiatives to support, the TITAN Impact program team specifically focuses on those projects that cover not just one, but many of the five key areas of interest to us.
These are:
- Community development
- Health and wellness
- Education
- Environment
- Sports
So how could we resist the opportunity to help the under-14 girls’ team at the Danish club Rudersdal Håndbold , which brings together players from the towns of Ydun, AB, Brøndby, Ledøje Smørum and Virum?
Covering sports, community development, health and wellness, it’s no wonder we’ve been helping girls for several years .
Our most recent commitment was to provide a new look: the young players not only needed a bright white look for their matches, but they also needed fleece to keep them warm in training during Denmark’s notoriously cold winters.
As seen in the image, the girls also had the opportunity to personalize their appearance with their own numbers – just like their heroes on the Danish women’s handball team, one of the top teams in the world.
WHY WE CHOSEN TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
This project covers a lot for us: young players, a fantastic sport that is becoming increasingly popular, and players from different local areas. The TITAN Impact program aims to build communities and promote positive change, and the Rudersdal Håndbold club embodies exactly that.
